Sending Written Concerns to the BC Energy Regulator (formerly BC Oil and Gas Commission)

Landowners, rightsholders and anyone from the general public with concerns about a proposed project in their community have the option to send written concerns directly to the BC Energy Regulator. A written submission form is available on the BC Energy Regulator’s website.

Written submissions can be received any time until a decision is made on an application and are considered in the review process. Companies are made aware of all written submissions received regarding their application. If you have missed the 30 day window to send in a written response to the company, you still have opportunity to document your concerns through written submission to the BC Energy Regulator.

Landowners are encouraged to contact the Farmers Information Service for guidance on how to best present their concerns.
