The BC Energy Regulator (BCER) is hosting a webinar on Water Use in Oil and Gas Activities.
Hydrologist Ryan Rolick (M.Sc, P.Geo) will provide information on water sources, how the BCER regulates water use in oil and gas activities and how collected data is used to inform the BCER’s decision making process.

A question that remained open … while there seems to be provision for monitoring of overall flow, I wondered about either unlicensed pumping from various points-of-diversion (PODs) or for pumping beyond the allowable / licensed amounts?
