Federal Stimulus Funding for Dormant, Orphan and Legacy Sites

The Province of British Columbia is receiving the following funding from the Federal Government:

 

  • $100 million to decommission, assess and restore dormant sites;
  • $15 million toward orphan site restoration; and
  • $5 million to clean up legacy disturbances.

 

The BC Oil and Gas Commission has made additional information regarding this funding package available on their website.
